Probably my most ambitious project yet, I'm converting the Bandai Z-Gundam series Galbaldy-ß into the awesome AMX-117 Gaz-R/L from ZZ Gundam (yes, I'm making both). This is a work in progress, and you'll find lots of scratchbuilding tips in these articles.

hi-zack

This is the 1/100 Hi-Zack from the Zeta Gundam series. The model itself is nice looking, but the articulation is pretty bad. I'm working on adding detail and greatly improving articulation, "master-gradizing" the coolest Zaku.

nu gundam

The original 1/100 Nu-Gundam kit was the first Gundam kit in this scale that came close to looking really good out of the box. However, it still needed work. Modifications were made to most of the joint structures, some detail was added, and a few changes were made to improve proportions. Of course, as soon as I finished, the Master Grade kit was announced. :P

100-shiki

This is the 1/100 Hyaku-Shiki from the Zeta Gundam series. It's one of the better looking kits from that series, I think the proportions are actually better looking than the Master Grade kit. This was built pretty much straight out of the box, the fun was covering the entire kit in gold colored foil for that extra shiny finish!

hi nu-gundam

This kit was a crappy polyester recast of the 1/100 Hi-Nu Gundam (it may be an earlier version of the B-Club kit, or a convention only model, as some details differ from the current full action B-Club version). It took a lot of work to clean up the parts, and I made it fixed pose because of the brittle parts.

gerbera tetra

An original 1/100 B-Club kit, with the optional booster unit (a separate kit). The Gerbera-Tetra is a very large model (probably a little out of scale). I didn't do much modification, just some work on the mono-eye, and added a few springs. The sculpt is excellent, one of the best looking B-Club models I've seen.
